ABOUT US

Welcome to Iron Hills Gym, a dedicated training space that encourages camaraderie, hard work and healthy, focussed practices.

Iron Hills was founded by Jenny Todd, former Strongwoman National and International Middleweight Champion.

After turning her sporting success into a career, Jenny spent over a decade helping hundreds of people achieve their version of success, strength and wellness.

She believes that everyone deserves to feel the incredible benefits of strength and fitness, and wanted to open a small training facility that welcomes those who feel overwhelmed or distracted in larger gyms.

Iron Hills Gym is nestled in a beautiful spot at the foot of the Cleveland Hills, just outside Guisborough, North Yorkshire. With stunning trails on the doorstep of the gym, we look forward to using the outdoor space in our group training sessions.

MEET YOUR COACH

From crap at PE to winning a World Championship, Jenny Todd has had an incredible journey so far, and she wants nothing more than to encourage others to explore interests and adventure through physical exercise.

Jenny started coaching in 2015 after quickly realising a passion for helping others achieve success in the sport of strongwoman.

From 2013-2017 she collected 4x Englands Strongest, 1x Europes and 1x Arnold Amateur World Strongwoman Title.

Along with her own achievements, she is also recognised for her athletes achievements in the sport including Donna Moore - 3x Worlds Strongest Woman, Claire Myler - 3x Worlds Strongest Masters Woman and Harry Rogers - World Record Holder & Europes Strongest Man under 90kg 2025.

Jenny hasn’t just worked with athletes. Over the last 10 years she has worked with hundreds of people of all ages, backgrounds and experience levels to help them set goals and achieve them.

In recent years she has moved her training interests to stone lifting and trail running. 2024 saw her go from couch to 5k to a 40 mile Ultramarathon. In the summer of 2025 she trained for and successfully lifted the infamous Dinnie Stones in Scotland. Jenny doesn’t like to attach her identity to one sport, but enjoys exploring new interests as she moves through each chapter of her life. This is something that she also encourages her clients to do.
